The following weeks were amazing. I was happy again. My
sessions with Doctor Nolan were helping me re-discover myself. My relationship
with Cameron, my friends and my family was so much stronger. My parents got the
keys to their building a few days after my first therapy session. With the help

smiled and hugged us both
“Thank you for all your help Principle Hawkins.” I told her
“Of course.” She said as she walked out of the gym closing
the doors leaving us alone with just the DJ.

restaurant with my wife and son as a family. I’m fortunate enough to have them

friends we’ve made here in Depoe Bay are here as well. I’d like to dedicate

Everyone began to clap. I could see Diane in the front
tearing up. Cameron waved as my dad placed his arm around him.
“Without further ado…welcome!” he said snipping the
ribbon
Two of the servers opened the double doors as many of the
people in the crowd began to line up to enter. Cameron and I let the crowd go
in as we walked off to the side of the building. He grabbed onto both of my

“What was that for?” I asked
“I don’t need a reason to kiss you.” Cameron said

“Your dad…he’s made me feel so welcomed.” He said

“Really?” I asked

We kissed again as a cool breeze from the ocean flowed
between us and through our hair. It was a sign that the seasons were changing.
We were ready to take on the next chapter of our lives…together.
